SOME DAYS ARE PERFECT

​And this was one of them. Or at least as close as I deserve. Last night I mapped out this game plan for today. It seemed a little too aggressive. And it was! But I just finished it and I feel very happy. I guess after 10 days of being in this cabin, I really was ready to get out a little, i.e. see half the state of Colorado.

And now, I am exhausted. So I will share a few details with you tomorrow.

But one thing I have to share now is if you live in Kansas City and love unique musical experiences and badass women, you have got to go see DakhaBrakha at JCCC tomorrow (Friday) night. I was just swept away by them, and they're blowing across the prairie toward you as we speak. I've never seen anything like this quartet, and I absolutely loved what they did on that stage. The power of the human voice, the primal pull of percussion, and seamless, appreciative teamwork. If any of that sounds good, please see them. Then tell me what you thought.
